Toasted Reuben with Horseradish & Mustard
Serves: 1
INGREDIENTS:
- 2 slices rye bread
- 2 teaspoons Gold’s Delicatessen Mustard
- 2 teaspoons Russian or Thousand Island Dressing
- 2 slices Swiss cheese
- 1 teaspoon Gold’s Horseradish
- 2 tablespoons sauerkraut, drained
- 4 to 6 sliced corned beef
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
Preparation:
- Preheat a skillet over medium heat.
- Spread one side of the sliced bread with Gold’s Delicatessen Mustard on one, and Russian or Thousand Island dressing on the other. Layer with two slices of Swiss cheese, Gold’s Horseradish, and sauerkraut. Top with the corned beef, and second bread slice, dressing side down.
- Butter the top of each sandwich, and place the sandwich, butter side down in the skillet, grilled until both sides are golden brown and the cheese has melted, pressing down firmly with a spatula, about 5 minutes per side.
