SMASH BURGER GOLD’S DELICATESSEN MUSTARD TACOS
Serves: 4
INGREDIENTS:
- 1-lb ground beef or plant-based alternative
- 3 tablespoons Gold’s Traditional Delicatessen Mustard
- 6 small flour tortillas (street taco size tortillas work best)
- Cheddar cheese, optional
TO SERVE:
- Shredded iceberg lettuce
- Pickle slices
- Gold’s Delicatessen Mustard
- Gold’s Secret Burger Sauce, optional
Preparation:
- In a medium bowl, mix the ground beef with the mustard. Divide into 6. Press the beef into a thin layer onto each tortilla.
- Preheat a frying pan or cast-iron pan over medium-high heat. Once smoking, add the tortilla to the pan, beef side down, and cook for 2 to 3 minutes, or until cooked to desired doneness.
- While cooking, flatten with a spatula. Flip, and top with cheese, if desired, to help the cheese melt, place a lid on top of the pan for 30 seconds. Repeat with remaining tortillas.
- Serve the tacos with shredded iceberg lettuce, pickles, Gold’s Delicatessen Mustard, and optional “special sauce”.
