Gold’s Mustard Beer Cheese

Makes: 2 cups

INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1/2 cup whole milk
  • 2/3 cup beer
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 teaspoons Gold’s Dijon Mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups (8oz) shredded sharp cheddar cheese

INSTRUCTIONS:

  • Melt the butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Add the flour and whisk together until a paste forms. Cook for 1 minute.
  • Slowly add the milk, whisking until combined. Whisk for one minute.
  • Add the beEr, Worcestershire sauce, Gold’s Dijon Mustard, garlic powder, paprika and salt. Whisking to combine.
  • Add the cheese and whisk vigorously until it has fully melted.
  • Serve immediately.
