Duck Sauce Glazed Brussels Sprouts
Serves: 8
INGREDIENTS:
- 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- 1 medium shallot, thinly sliced
- 2lb brussels, trimmed and halved
- 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
- ½ cup Gold’s Duck sauce
- 3 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 3 tablespoons chopped pecans, to garnish
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Add the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Place the shallots and brussels sprouts in the pan, cooking for 3 to 5 minutes.
- Add the garlic, and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
- Add the Gold’s Duck Sauce, apple cider vinegar, salt and pepper. Bring the mixture to a boil, and let simmer for 3 to 4 minutes, or until tender.
- Garnish with pecans, to serve.
