Gold’s Dijon Mustard – Apple + Dijon Mustard Grilled Cheese
Serves: 2
INGREDIENTS:
- 4 slices sourdough bread
- 1 tablespoon Gold’s Dijon Mustard
- 4 slices cheddar cheese
- ½ granny smith apple, very thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons butter
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Divide the Gold’s Dijon Mustard among the four slices.
- Top with cheddar cheese and apple slices. Top with the remaining bread slices.
- Spread the mayonnaise on the outside of each sandwich.
- Heat the butter in a nonstick skillet over medium heat until melted.
- Add the sandwiches, and cook for 3 to 4 minutes per side, or until golden and the cheese has fully melted.
- Transfer to a cutting board and serve.
