Sweet and Sour Chicken Skewers with Duck Sauce
Serves: 4
INGREDIENTS:
- 1lb boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into 1-inch pieces
- ¼ cup olive oil
- 1 cup Gold’s Sweet and Sour Duck Sauce
- 2 medium red or orange bell peppers
- 1 medium red onion, cut into 1 inch pieces
- ¼ cup chopped fresh cilantro
- Wooden skewers
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Place the chicken in a large bowl. Add the olive oil and Gold’s Sweet and Sour Duck Sauce. Cover and refrigerate, for 20 minutes to 1 hour.
- Soak the wooden skewers in a baking dish with cold water for 20 minutes.
- Thread the chicken onto the soaked skewers alternating with pepper and onions.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Grill the chicken for 6 to 8 minutes per side, brushing with remaining marinade halfway through.
- Serve with additional Gold’s Sweet and Sour Duck Sauce and chopped cilantro.
