Sweet and Sour Chicken Skewers with Duck Sauce

Sweet and Sour Chicken Skewers with Duck Sauce

Serves: 4

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1lb boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • 1 cup Gold’s Sweet and Sour Duck Sauce
  • 2 medium red or orange bell peppers
  • 1 medium red onion, cut into 1 inch pieces
  • ¼ cup chopped fresh cilantro
  • Wooden skewers

INSTRUCTIONS:

  • Place the chicken in a large bowl. Add the olive oil and Gold’s Sweet and Sour Duck Sauce. Cover and refrigerate, for 20 minutes to 1 hour.
  • Soak the wooden skewers in a baking dish with cold water for 20 minutes.
  • Thread the chicken onto the soaked skewers alternating with pepper and onions.
  • Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Grill the chicken for 6 to 8 minutes per side, brushing with remaining marinade halfway through.
  • Serve with additional Gold’s Sweet and Sour Duck Sauce and chopped cilantro.
