Gold’s Mustard Beer Cheese
Makes: 2 cups
INGREDIENTS:
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1/2 cup whole milk
- 2/3 cup beer
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 2 teaspoons Gold’s Dijon Mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups (8oz) shredded sharp cheddar cheese
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Melt the butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Add the flour and whisk together until a paste forms. Cook for 1 minute.
- Slowly add the milk, whisking until combined. Whisk for one minute.
- Add the beEr, Worcestershire sauce, Gold’s Dijon Mustard, garlic powder, paprika and salt. Whisking to combine.
- Add the cheese and whisk vigorously until it has fully melted.
- Serve immediately.
