Duck Sauce Glazed Brussels Sprouts

Serves: 8

INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 medium shallot, thinly sliced
  • 2lb brussels, trimmed and halved
  • 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • ½ cup Gold’s Duck sauce
  • 3 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 3 tablespoons chopped pecans, to garnish

INSTRUCTIONS:

  • Add the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Place the shallots and brussels sprouts in the pan, cooking for 3 to 5 minutes.
  • Add the garlic, and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
  • Add the Gold’s Duck Sauce, apple cider vinegar, salt and pepper. Bring the mixture to a boil, and let simmer for 3 to 4 minutes, or until tender.
  • Garnish with pecans, to serve.
